Beginnings: Falconi’s Acura-Honda

Collision Authority’s auto body repair story begins in 1991 when our founder and Chief Executive Bill Falls partnered up with Angelo Falconi to create the 44,000 sq ft Falconi’s Acura-Honda. This partnership produced the most successful collision repair business in Nevada and since its conception has repaired more than 75,000 vehicles. Mr. Falconi would later sell his auto dealerships and his shares in the collision center to move on to other interests, but the Falconi’s shop (now under the Collision Authority banner) would continue to be the flag ship for the group. This facility is located just a few blocks from Mandalay Bay Casino for convenient servicing of the southern resort corridor.  

Green Valley Collision Authority Center

In 1999, Bill Falls and company opened their second world-class shop, this time in the Green Valley area. The 41,000 sq ft shop they created from the ground up became a state-of-the-art facility that sits on 2 ½ acres of beautifully landscaped property strategically located near the Valley Auto Mall.

Spring Valley Auto Body Repair Location

Some years back the partners became aware of a proposed new auto mall near Spring Valley. The partners decided that this would be an ideal location to premier their newly designed concept facility. This 40,000 sq ft free-flow design should allow for greater and more efficient work flow. It is the only one of its kind in Nevada and since its opening in 2008, it has become the primary repair facility for several insurance companies.  

Collision Authority Partners

Bill Falls learned early in his career that partnering up with the right people was the way to put his business on the fast track to success. His first partnership with Angelo Falconi created a business plan that would turn his dream into a multimillion dollar success. That plan fed work into his shop from the Falconi’s Dealerships and became a win-win for both parties.

Mr. Falls would also bring in two other partners who had worked their way up the success ladder within the company. Michael Spears, a writer at the Falconi’s shop since 1991, became a full partner in 1999. With Michael’s 34 years of experience in the business he was a natural choice to run the Green Valley shop when it was built.

Vicki Dessaints, a longtime member of the company family, became the third partner in this success story in 2005. She had literally started from the bottom and became the manager of the Falconi’s shop. Her indispensable talent as the company’s profit guru made her the ideal choice to become the third partner.

The "Collision Authority" Name:

The partners realized that they needed a brand to bring the components of the company together. With their third shop preparing to open and the potential for more, they realized that it would be simpler to market one name rather than three and thus Collision Authority was born.
